The primary responsibility is to accurately calculate commissions for our Sales staff based on sales data extracted from our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and processed using Excel.
You will play a critical role in ensuring that our Sales team receives accurate and timely commission payments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Interface with sales staff and management, as necessary, to assist in answering questions or providing data.
Utilize the CRM system to extract sales data and compile it into Excel spreadsheets for commission calculations.
Analyze sales transactions, invoices, and other relevant data to determine commission eligibility and accurately calculate commission amounts.
Collaborate with the Sales team to understand the commission structure, sales targets, and any specific commission rules or exceptions.
Verify the accuracy of data inputs, ensuring that commissions are calculated based on approved formulas, rates, and incentives.
Review commission statements for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to company policies.
Prepare and distribute commission reports to Sales team members, providing clear explanations and breakdowns of commission calculations.
Address commission-related inquiries and resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
Stay updated on changes to commission structures, targets, and sales policies, and ensure that commission calculations align with these updates.
Assist in developing and maintaining commission-related documentation, including commission plans, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate with the Finance and HR teams to ensure proper documentation and recording of commission expenses.
Utilization of Excel and/or company computer system for timely and accurate completion of commissions reports for sales staff biweekly payroll.
Research discrepancies that may occur and timely reporting thereof.
Interface with all levels of company staff as may be necessary to complete tasks.
Qualifications and Skills Proven experience in commission calculation or a similar analytical role.
Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation techniques.
Familiarity with CRM systems and the ability to extract and analyze data from these platforms.
Aptitude for learning new systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with the Sales team and other stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of commission structures, sales performance metrics, and incentive programs is a plus.
Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality with sensitive commissions data.
Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent One (1) to five(5) year of relevant experience.
An equivalent combination of education and experience, or training may be considered.
